About the event

Come and join Sarah from Story Storks on a romp through history as we learn all about King Athelstan.  We learn to from his Alfred the Great Grandad why he likes to wear purple.  We learn from his Aunty Ethel how to fight Vikings and we come to Kingston Market place to witness his coronation.  This historically accurate yet totally hilarious version of the story of the first King of all of England was developed especially for Early Years children with the help of Heritage Lottery Fund Grant.  Come and join us for some storytelling fun (watch out for Vikings!)
