About the event
Let our specialist Early Years facilitator lead your children on an action-packed and highly interactive workshops. Discover the amazing story of King Athelstan, the first King of England, who was crowned on this site over 1,000 years ago.
It's the perfect way to introduce local and national history to young children and have lots of fun and dressing up in the process!
This workshop:
- Has been developed by Story Storks, specialists in early years learning
- Supports the Early Years learning framework
- Is delivered by specialist Early Years facilitators
- Includes dressing up in Saxon costumes
Suitable for: Nursery and Reception children aged 3 plus.
Capacity: Maximum of 30 children per session
Cost: £100
Timing: 1 hour, starting at 10.30am or 1.30pm
