Story Storks presents King Athelstan, the Historically Funny tale of King Athelstan from boy to King specially written for kids from 4 – 10 years.
Join Story Storks on a romp through history as we learn all about Saxon, King Athelstan. We witness King Alfred the Great gifting a young boy a purple cloak (is that why the local school have purple uniforms?) We train with Aunty Ethel to fight Vikings, and finally, we march north and put our skills to good use against the Viking hoards!
This historically accurate yet totally hilarious immersive theatre show is full of local history to keep the whole family entertained. Kids (and willing adults) get to join in on the wild adventures of a real King who was crowned right here in Kingston.
