About the event
This Christmas, come join the team who brought you The First Father Christmas, as they retell the mostly traditional tale of Dick Whittington. But we’ll also learn the truth behind the legend, who he really was, how he really travelled to London (through Kingston on a boat – no I’m not making it up!) and how his great deeds gave rise to the story that we still tell today.
Full of fun, laughter, phonics, counting, dance, song, shapes, puppetry and a flying cat, this immersive theatre show is a magical blend of local history and legend combined into beautiful storytelling that will have little ones entranced, grown-ups in stitches and everyone feeling the magic of Christmas.
